Helpline Volunteer

Join Break the Cycle’s mission to end domestic and dating violence by answering helpline calls and responding to help emails. Depending on individuals’ needs, you will provide basic information about domestic violence and offer appropriate referrals for various services, such as counseling, shelters and legal assistance.

How To Get Started

Complete the Break the Cycle volunteer application, specifying the Helpline Volunteer service track. We will contact you about training and scheduling your first day.

Leadership Track

Want to do more? Once you have set up a regular schedule, you will find more interesting projects coming your way, like researching additional service providers and helping to build our referral database. Help teens across the nation by letting them know they can reach out! Want even more? Join us 8-10 hours a week to get internship credit!

Commitment: Available 1:00 - 4:00, Mondays and/or Fridays. Minimum 40 hours
